The Istituto di Istruzione Superiore M. Montessori L. da Vinci was founded on September 1st 2000 by the union of two schools already exsisting in the area: Polo Scolastico M. Montessori and Istituto Tecnico Industriale Leonardo da Vinci, both founded in 19960.
The Institute has a main central building in the middle of the green hills of Porretta Terme ( ex site of the Polo Scolastico), and a second site in the central and elegant Mazzini street.

Study Courses

The study courses are a lot and respond the formation needs expressed by the social and economical context of the high and medium Reno Valley, with aa productive background composed of small and medium mechanical industries, a big chemical industry, some ecological services societies, information processing industries, winter , summer and spa resorts..
In this background the formation is developed on various levels, because the activated study courses allow the possibility to master a professional graduation and classical graduation too.

The institute is made up of the two sites, of special laboratories, fax service, graphics display and communicatios services, computer classes, gym, library, refreshment services during the break, automatic refreshment machines, public telephones, photocoping service.
These services can be used by the students, teachers and ata personnel.
